Is the Stick Up Cam Elite PoE able to be directly installed over and covering a 1 gang electrical box or something similar? I’m wondering for an exterior install what the best way is to weatherproof the install and make it look streamlined as well?
Hi @Yangorang. The Stick Up Cam Elite is weather-resistant and can go anywhere indoors or out. However, the PoE adapter is not weather-resistant and must be placed indoors and connected to a router for power and internet. I personally have used a small amount of caulking around any exterior holes that I ran wire through to help seal them from the elements.
