I have had my ring doorbell for about 8mths now. Was given it as a gift. I received a low battery email so I brought it in to charge. Waited for it to come to room temp before I charged it. Live in Canada, it’s winter. When I plugged it in the blue light showed up. Check on it a couple hours later and nothing. Unit was quite hot. Tried a different plug and still nothing.
