Stick Up Cam - No Motion detected! Help!

Hi, I recently purchased 2 Ring Stick Up Cams. I don’t know what I am doing wrong, but I cannot get them to detect motion and I’m not getting any alerts on my mobile either. Can someone please please help me? I’m setting these up for my elderly mother so I need this to be sorted ASAP! Thankyou on advance

Hi @Sam6031. There are different settings and options available for motion detection on your Stick Up Cams. Look through the settings below regarding the motion detection on your Stick Up Cams:

  • Review your Modes settings to ensure that motion detection is enabled. If may be disabled in one of your Modes.
  • In the Ring app, tap the menu in the top left > Devices > your Stick Up Cam > make sure Motion Detection is toggled on. You can also toggle Motion Alerts on or off to receive notifications when motion is detected.
  • In the same area of the Ring app, tap the Motion Settings tile and review your settings. Adjust your Motion Zones to ensure they capture the areas you want to be notified about.
