SSL error message when trying to retrieve recording affecting new camera only

I added a new camera a few weeks ago. Yesterday when using the iphone app to try to view footage I got a message to say ‘An SSL error ocurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made’.

This only affects retrieval of recordings on the new camera. Live view on it works and I can retrieve recordings from another camera and doorbell ok. Also, if I try to retrieve the recording via my phone data connection rather than wifi then that works ok.

I would welcome suggestions as to what is the problem here?

Hi @LyntonM. When getting this error, are you connected to a VPN? If so, you’ll need to turn the VPN off. You can also try connecting your iPhone to a wifi hotspot to see if you get the same error. If you don’t get the error, it would point to your network being the issue and you may have to make some adjustments to your router settings. Take a look at this Help Center article here to ensure you are using the correct ports and protocols.
