I had completed set up of my Ring Video Doorbell 2 with just the battery in it. When I hardwired it, it now only shows a solid white ring. I am unable to begin setup and the device is unreachable from the app. The device does not function with the battery in it now either. Any ideas or anything I can do?
Hi @Ben87. Have you tried to reset the Doorbell at all? If not, give this a try by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is complete, attempt to walk through a new setup of the Doorbell in the Ring App using the steps under Set Up a Device. Let me know if this helps or if you notice anything else happening with the Doorbell.
