Solar spotlight cam low battery removes functionality

I have two brand new solar spotlight cams and last night one of them fell below 30% battery. I am now unable to see live view and although 4 motion events were triggered overnight, no alerts were received and no video has recorded. Is this normal? Does it just stop working properly at 30%??

Hi @ShonaM. First, you’ll need to recharge your batteries to 100%. Once that is complete, unplug your Solar Panel and inspect the port for any debris, then reinsert the Solar Panel ensuring that it “clicks” into place. Once that is complete, reset your Spotlight Cam by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then release. The last step would be to reconnect your Spotlight Cam to wifi and verify its power source in the Ring app under the Device Health menu.
