Weird that I have both my solar panels stop charging my spotlight camera last night. Located opposite side of house and no sun blockage. Has been working properly for over 2 years. Any idea why not 1 but both stop charging at same time. Also noticed spotlight was on all last night with no movements
Hi @Neighbor-5512. Is the Solar Panel status reporting as established in the Device Health screen for your Cameras? Have you tried disconnecting the Solar Panel, ensuring it is free of dirt and debris, and reconnecting it to the Camera? If not, I’d recommend giving this a try. Additionally, you may want to reset the Camera by holding down the setup button for 20 seconds and then taking it through a new setup in the Ring App. This will refresh your Camera’s connection with the Ring App to ensure that everything is displaying correctly.
Should the Solar Panels still not report as connected, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available here. They’ll be able to pull up your account and take a deeper look at your devices to troubleshoot this concern further. Thank you. I removed battery and charged them separately. Just reinstalled in and will verify tomorrow how how much it depleted.
