Solar Panel for Doorbell 3 installation

I’m considering buying a solar panel for the Doorbell3, does the solar pane have to be screw fitted or can it be used with the no-drill mount as per the option for the Doorbell 3?

Also, the front door is north facing, so doesn’t get direct sunlight till the evening, will this still work even though there will be daylight or does it have to have direct sunlight hitting the panels?

Hi @EHN. As described in this Help Center article here, the No Drill Mount cannot be used with the Solar Charger. For the Solar Charger to function properly, it needs to have at least 4 hours of direct sunlight per day. I hope this helps!
