With the Smart Lighting, you can get additional (outdoor) motion sensors that link to cameras, lights, etc. What I’d like to see is the ability to link these for an audible alert inside the house. For example, we have a fairly long driveway and it would be nice to have a chime alert when Amazon, UPS, or some random person enters the drive. The app gives a notification but it’s not always noticeable if my phone’s in another room. We have Ring Alarm and initially I thought we could just set the base station to chirp for the Smart Lighting motion sensor like a window-open sensor does. Or I’d even be good with adding a Chime device. Unfortunately neither of those connects to Smart Lighting, and I’m a little too privacy-oriented to add Alexa to the household.
Yes link outdoor motion sensors to chime on base station or keypad. Seems like an easy gimme and would allow users to use motion sensors for much more! Please!!!
