I have multiple ring cam located on my patio and garage. I was wondering if there is a way to program a smart button that would be located near the door or slider that would disable the motion sensing or notification for like five minutes or so?

While there is no option to program any type of smart button or switch to turn off motion detection, you may want to look into the Motion Snooze feature in the Ring App. You can learn more about it in our Help Center Article here.
