Only spotlight cams have the siren feature - it would be a great feature to have the siren feature across all doorbells in the ring product range.
Given the audio performance on the Doorbell Pro 2 is vastly superior to the older models it would be good to have the siren function added to the device. Even if it was just something you could activate manually it would be very useful to scare off anyone. I am guessing the speaker in the Pro 2 is loud enough allow for it and it could be added via firmware.
ADD WARNING SOUND OR SIREN.
THEF AND VANDALISM AT YOUR FRONT DOOR PACKAGES OR VEHICLE will be scare off.
ADD VOICE SAYING YOU ON CAMARA.
PLEASE VOTE PEOPLE , Vivint already have this feature and really scares off robbers and prevents vandalism.
Ring already has this. Its called motion warning and it’s available in many newer hardwired doorbells and cameras. I don’t think any battery devices support it though.
Car thefts are strife in the UK and confronting thieves whilst in action can be dangerous.
Please add a siren sound (like the security cam has) to the doorbell. It could be renamed ‘panic button’ if needed…
Could also be used it you are remote and see house burglars operating…
