Silence Home / Away voice announcements at night

Apologies if this has already been answered. I have my ring alarm to automatically arm to Home at midnight, and disarm at 6am. This produces the announcement and is annoying when you’re asleep. I want to keep the volume on for when the contact sensors are opened/closed, so don’t want to mute the base station. Happy for announcements in the day. Is there a night mode, or a way to keep the volume on without the home/away announcements being audible? Thanks!

HI @user9403. There isn’t a setting to silence the Base Station at a specific time of day. You can adjust the audio volume on your Base Station (excluding the sound of the siren) by tapping on the Audio Settings tile under the Base Station in the Ring app. Feel free to add your suggestion to include the audio volume in your schedule on our Feature Request board. This will help us to organize and share your requests with our teams here, as well as allow other neighbors to comment and add interest, all in one place. You can also link that post you make in the Feature Request board here so other neighbors that come to this thread can easily find your feature!

I just set up the Ring alarm and we keep the keypad in our bedroom. The Mode Schedule is waking us up at night ANNOUNCING the mode change. Seriously, there is no way to turn this off? Without having to turn the keypad volume off - so that we can’t hear anything else, like the door sensor chimes? That is a choice that solves one stupid problem and introduces a serious defect into how the product functions. Seeing other posts on here, this has been a request for at least two years. This kind of bad product design makes me seriously want to return the product and write a review to warn others away from such a poorly designed system (fatal flaw). Does Ring not test and use their own product? And realize what an annoyance this is to most if not everyone using their product? It’s software - just fix it!
