I have my lock linked to the app but is there a way to be able to use the encode to arm/disarm the Alarm system or is that just for the Zwave locks?
Great question, @Travelchick2277! Most of the Smart Locks available on the Works With Ring page will be able to arm/ disarm your Alarm. As you mentioned the Schlage Encode specifically, this lock connects to Ring through Amazon Key and does not have this arm/ disarm feature, as other locks do. This means that this model of lock will not arm/ disarm the Alarm system.
Well that’s a load. You should not advertise that this works with ring then. Spent $260 for nothing.
