Ring Video Doorbell - Blue Filling Light in Setup

Hi - hoping someone can help. Have had the Video Doorbell V1 for a couple of years with no issues.

For some reason, it is now not working, have attempted:

  • reconnect to the network with no luck.
  • alternate wifi network with no luck.
  • Also attempted hard reset with no luck.
  • Deleted app and no success.

Issue is at the last step it appears, after wifi password has been entered. I get to the screen with 4 error options - and mine is not there. Password is correct.

My light shows as a blue light, pulsing from the bottom to the top. No white lights.

Can anyone please assist ?

Hi @user6830. That light pattern typically indicates that the Doorbell is connecting to the internet. If possible, can you attempt the setup with a different phone or tablet?
