Ring protect problem uk

I had my Ring doorbell second generation for about 2 weeks then it had a problem and had to be replaced. I already have a protect plan for faulty one. Now I’m told my 30 day trial starts on new device.

what do I have to do cancel first plan or transfer. Either way how do I do this

When the trial finishes it should revert to your subscription
