Ring Pro 2 with plug in adapter Gen 2

Hello first time posting here, reading through swveral topics.

I decided to upgrade from ring doorbell 2
To ring pro 2

My question is,

Do i need to use a transformer if i DON’T have an existing doorbell system and am using the Gen 2 adaptor that plugs in to the wall to power it up?

Its my understanding that Its plug and play at that point. Thank you.

Hi @user16598. If you are using the Plug-In Adapter Gen 2, then you do not need a transformer. The Plug-In Adapter Gen 2 will power your Ring Pro 2 with no problem. I hope this helps.
