So I have a wireless ring 2 with chime. We upgraded our wifi recently and cause the ring to disconnect. We unscrewed it from its spot and have been following the setup on the app but every time we put in the password for the wifi it won’t connect. Prior to this, the ring was working perfectly fine and now we’re having trouble connecting the ring to the wifi.
Hi @Hamarita. Here are a few things you can try. First, reset your Doorbell by pressing and holding the Orange Setup Button for 20 seconds. Next, you’ll want to go to your phone settings and make sure that your WiFi Assist/Smart Network Switch (iPhone/Android) is turned off. Now you can go into your Ring app and reconnect your Doorbell to wifi, being sure enter in your wifi information manually. Let me know how this goes.
