Ring is experiencing a temporary system wide login and app errors. They are currently looking into the issue.

Started to having problem to login to Ring App today. Is the Ring system currently down?

Two Factor authentication doesn’t work either.

Evening all, I’ve just reinstalled the app but I can’t access my account cause the two-step auth code is not recognised. I’ve tried multiple times with no success. Thanks for your help!

Yes. It seems they’re down and the app doesn’t work.

I can’t view any of my 4 cameras but I’m still getting notifications.

See status.ring.com - it’s been down for hours.

It’s also difficult to even log into this forum without a timeout or 500 error but it is possible.

I would guess it’s all related to Amazon Webservices falling over in the US (their authentication and streaming data services are affected) status.aws.amazon.com

Does anybody know of an official announcement/apology?

Authentication seems doesn’t work at all, from APP or from Site, not possible to login to account. Help Desk is not reachable either. Phone support not available.

Looks like the Ring systems are down and no ETA when it will be back. The situation is pretty bad at this moment and customers are left hanging dry with no support whatsoever.

Hi can’t log in to account it just says something went wrong when I put the verification code in been like it a few hours now

Had this 2 days ready to throw it in the bin. Worked for 2/3days but noticed it wasn’t working tonight, tried to open app, wouldn’t open, can’t find location etc, tried reinstalling app, went to log in, didnt like password, sent me verification post, did that 7 times and each time it said ‘something went wrong’ really?!! Rang 01727263045 got cut off after 1 ring on 8 occasions then got put in a queue eventuallly, still sitting in it as I write. ‘Ring’…get your act together…anyone else having these issues? BTW its b*gger all to do with the wifi.

Mine is doing same can’t get logged into mine all day

I am having the same issue.

I initally was getting “could not get locations”. So I signed out of the app, now I cannot get back in.

Update on this, after 20 plus minutes I just got through to an agent, apprently there has been an app ‘glitch’ and they are working to fix it, apologies etc etc…how about emailing people and let them know?? The mind boggles. I can see this going back to Argos…their reviews were great but I should have read trust pilot first…more fool me.

Hi yes, apologies if my rant is a tad angry lol the agent was apolgetic, not his fault but as per my reply to my own post there is an app glitch current, they said it would take a couple of hours to fix but we’ll see. It is ntohing wrong with your phone/wifi etc. I’ll check it in the morning, got better things to do than stand on my doorstep in the dark waving my arms around lol x

hey i’m havein the same problem i dont know whats going on with ring its like they disappeared, i even tryed calling them the number dont work, let me no if you get any update are luck thanks.

Can’t connect to doorbell for live
