During the initial update my new indoor cam just turned off and won’t come back on… do I just need to send it back?
Hi @Greatdane! Was this a first time setup? There is often an update following the first setup in which the Camera will not only update firmware but is also establishing it’s recent connection to a network and configuring your settings. During this update, there may not be full operation with your device, and attempting operation can prolong the completion of this update. Wifi signal interference can also impact the update.
If your Camera is not operating as intended, or at all, please perform a reset on the device by holding the setup button for 20 seconds. Once complete, you may have to complete another setup in the Ring app. Feel free to let us know how this goes!
