How do I resetup my ring doorbell if it keeps saying it has a previous owner but I’m the original owner
Hi @03-03! This should not happen unless you are attempting a new setup under a new Ring account/ email. There is a change of ownership process which will request authorization to release ownership. After attempting a setup in the Ring app, and receiving the previous owner message, an email should be sent to the original email used to setup this Doorbell.
Once you’ve received the email and authorized the change of ownership, your Doorbell should allow for a new setup. I hope this helps!
