Ring Doorbell wont setup

Ring doorbell just blinks solid white for about a min. Then will switch to blinking blue for about 30 seconds then back to white. Have made sure its fully charged. Have done hard reset and uninstalled app and gone through setup from scratch. Sitting in front of modem with the device health reporting everything good and firmware up to date. Very frustrated. Anybody know what I’m doing wrong?

Hi @Andy21! Often times after a setup there will be an update, even if firmware shows up to date. This might be an update of connection information, firmware, or even settings/ configuration changes. Even though firmware completed, motion settings might still be updating, for example.

Great call bringing this close to your router. Please ensure the battery is fully charged, and double check that you’ve connected to a 2.4 Ghz network, as this is often the most dependable wifi.
