Ring doorbell To be sued for tampering with network

Ring doorbell works great live video feeds no problem until motion is detected. Then you can’t see live views. This only happens to users who do not pay for love video recording. This is a setting by the ring company that kills your network. It’s the same thing cell phone companies are being sued for after they reduced the broadband speed. Ring is being looked into for network tampering and trying to force people to pay for network usage

Hey @Ahmurray. I do want to let you know that neighbors who do not subscribe to a Ring Protect Plan have the same Live View capabilities on their devices as those who do subscribe. If you’re having trouble with your Live View, we’re happy to help out further with this. Please note that if your device has a low battery or a poor connection, it may have a hard time pulling up the Live View when there hasn’t been activity in awhile. You can learn more about RSSI in our Community post here.

In addition, for a faster Live View load when motion is detected, I recommend checking out the Rapid Ring app to see if this helps with loading your Live View faster as well.
