Ring Doorbell suddenly WAY TOO SENSITIVE

OMG getting support sucks - my ring doorbells are suddenly useless - ignoring the ZONE settings, and alerting each time a car drives down the road. Video Doorbell 4 - battery with full charges. Worked for last several weeks, now, suddenly, my zones are being ignored.

I don’t need help setting up zones because they are already there. My Ring Doorbells (V4) have been working fine for a month configured exactly how I need them to be. The issue is that they stopped respecting the configured zones - So I am unsure why you thought your post would help in any way at all.

Hi @Foxgluvs. Did you try resetting your Doorbell as @SolarEclipse suggested? If not, this is a good basic troubleshooting step to try. You can reset your Doorbell by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is complete, you’ll want to set it back up in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. This will have you also readjust your settings, including your Motion Zones, so you can ensure everything is set up according to your preferences. With the Motion Zones, it may also take a bit of trial and error to find a combination of settings that works best for your home environment.
