I have seen numerous posts on here over the years about this. But still no fix!
Why cant we change the volume of our speaker on the ring doorbell.
No dont keep telling people about the chime volume slider.
Seriously my whole street can hear me.
This is a huge privacy risk!!

Hi - i just installed one of the older models (2nd generation) and found an easy fix . Simply put a piece of clear sticky tape (scotch tape) over the speaker at the base of the doorbell - may need 2 layers to get to your desired volume
