My Ring Doorbell v3 (installed in January) requires a very firm/hard press and hold for a second before it will actually ring. I’ve been wondering why I’d see video of delivery people apparently pushing the button but I only got the motion events, not the ring. I had a previous Ring v2 that didn’t behave this way - any ideas what’s going on? Do I just have a bad unit?
Hi @bazaarsoft. For this concern, I would suggest reaching out to our support team. A button push should be a smooth, but positive push to activate a recording. If you feel you are putting more effort than needed, our support should be able to resolve this for you.
