Ring Doorbell Pro 2 keeps freezing when on call

Ring Doorbell Pro 2 keeps freezing when on the call. Usually freezes after about 10-20 seconds and black screen appears. Can’t connect back to view for about 1-2 minutes.

Live View works fine but when I press “Green Phone” to talk to the person by the door, 10 seconds later screen goes black and Ring Bell freezes and I can’t communicate with the person for about 1-2 minutes. Router is really close to the bell as it’s behind the wall, so can’t be any closer. In my old house router was much further away and all worked perfectly. Has anybody come across the same problem. Please help as really frustrating.

Hi @Slav, have you tried doing a soft reboot of your device and also your router? Starting with this is a great place to start as it will refresh your connection and make sure the Doorbell is up to date! To achieve the reboot for your router, simply unplug it for a few minutes, and then plug it back up. After this, giving your Doorbell a soft reset by holding down the setup button under the faceplate for about 30 seconds. Once that is completed, give the Doorbell a few minutes to come back up and running, then test the Live View. Let me know how this goes! :smiley_cat:

Hi Chelsea. I’ve done it before and still the same problem. In fact now I also have problem with audio, as sometimes I can’t hear the person by the bell or there is a big delay.
