RING doorbell does not detect me!

Hi, I’m hoping someone might be able to help. We have the RING doorbell which seems to detect motion just fine, unless it is me!

It doesn’t detect me leaving the house or returning, not even when I am in the car! This is starting to create an issue for me as my husband now suspects I am somehow avoiding detection on purpose to hide something (or someone!). Please help as I am at my wits end

Hi @LRJ. There are a few settings that we can adjust to ensure that your Ring Doorbell records more consistently. First, we can adjust our Motion Settings by reading this Help Center article here (battery powered) or here (wired).
