Ring doorbell 2 disable blue led

Also would like the option to disable the light. Just installed today. Ring installed on front door with a glass screen door in front. 10% visibility on live view at night. Someone could be breaking into my vehicle 8 feet from the camera and would not see a thing.

Should be a better option than cover it with tape.

I get it, the light means smile, you’re on camera.

Hi @MTaylor73. This looks to be a reflection of the Infrared Lights on your glass door. Unfortunately, there is not a way to disable the night vision on the Doorbell. I suggest finding an alternate location for the Doorbell to improve the quality of your video at night.

To turn off blue ring light around button turn off “Motion Alerts”.
