Ring doorbel 2 isn't working anymore


Last christmas I bought an Ring doorbell 2 for my parents as a gift. Last week the battery died so I charged it overnight. The next morning when I put the battery back in the doorbell it doesn’t “ring” anymore, nor does it show a livestream. I tried to reset the Ring with no success. In the app it’s listed as online.

Does anyone know if this is a knows problem? And if so how do I fix it?

Hey @Deefh. It seems the device may have gotten hung up somewhere, possibly within a firmware update. No worries! Can you remove the Doorbell from their account, reset it by pressing and holding the setup button for 30 seconds, and then attempt to set it up again in the app?
