Hi I’m using an Amazon echo dot 4th gen as a Chime, I want the volume of this to be up full but when listening to the radio this volume is too loud, so when I turn the volume for the radio down it also turns the volume of the chime down. Is there a way to set a specific volume for the chime no matter what volume you have your dot set at for other uses ?
Hi @Steed69. That setting would have to be within the Alexa App, as the alert tone is playing through the Echo Dot rather than through a Ring device. If you can’t find any settings in the Alexa App to control how the volume behaves for different functions, I’d recommend contacting the Alexa support team here to see if they have a feature request system available to add this suggestion in.
