Ring doesn't work at all

I have tried repeatedly to set up my Ring doorbell.
I have watched the videos.
There doesn’t appear to be any Ring experts/help desk to ask.
Everything seems to be going well until the end when the white light circles on the phone then it invariably finishes to the left (i.e. not working).
The only solutions suggested on the Ring website, I have tried. I have even lain the ring phone on my wifi hub to preclude any “can’t find hub” problems.
Any ideas?
It’s driving me nuts.
