After power outage, Chime appears dead. Checked electrical outlet and power is good. Chime doesn’t light up or do anything after holding reset button.
Hi @JCS. If you are not receiving any signs of life for the Chime Pro, it would be best to give our support team a call here. They can take a deeper look into this for you, see if they can help you get the device running again, or if they can figure out the best next steps for you.
I’m having a similar problem, after a brief power outage it was flashing, now nothing is happening and it will not reconnect and shows no sign of life.
Hey there, @Reuben_Foster! When a Chime is unresponsive and no lights are showing at all, the best first step is trying another outlet. Please ensure to try an outlet that is not controlled by a light switch. If there are still no lights, please attempt a reset on the Chime by holding the setup button for 15 seconds. Once completed, the Chime should allow you to complete a setup in the Ring app, or reconnect.
