Ring 3 doorbell - 2 way audio issues


We’ve bought a Ring Doorbell 3 and are having issues with the 2 way audio. The visitor at the doorbell can hear me, but I can’t hear them. It works for a second, then cuts to silence from their end.

I have 88% power in the battery and an RSSI of 56. The Sky Q router is only about 4 metres from the doorbell.

Any advice on how to resolve this?

Hi @MistySocks79. To fix this concern, I’d suggest trying a reset and a new setup of your Doorbell, as this can typically clear up any audio problems like what you’re experiencing. To reset your Doorbell, please hold down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. Once that’s complete, you’ll want to walk through a new setup in the Ring App by following the steps under Set Up a Device. Let me know how the audio is working for you after that! :slight_smile:
