Anyone else had an issue with ADT panel chiming daily? Using the Cancel button stops it but has anyone figured out how to turn the warning chime off permanently? It is SO annoying. Any help appreciated.
You need to unplug and remove the battery from the old panel. Unplugging it will simply keep on running on battery and the chirps are probably letting you know it’s running on power. Eventually, the battery will die, but you should disable it.
This assumes a standard “retrofit” installation - that is disconnecting contact sensors and moving them over to Ring Retrofit.
