Refund issued but to closed card

I got an email that I was being refunded for my basic plan. $15 (from the $30/yr) Yay, great right? Not so much because they sent to my old card from a year ago. The card that’s closed and the bank account that’s closed. Yes I have updated to my new card. That’s how I upgraded to the $20 a month plan.

I get on chat and I tell Ring rep this. They told me to contact my bank. I told them that wouldn’t help as I’m not with that bank anymore. The rep couldn’t help me at that point.

So what do I do now?

Your only option is working with Ring support and the old bank. You do have an option to speak to a “manager” with Ring support, but I wouldn’t hold your breath.
You can always contact your former bank and tell them what has happened and what options you might have. They’ll probably say they can’t do anything, but it’s worth a shot right?

Anyway, you might just have to let the refund go as it’ll cost more in aggravation and time than it is worth.
