The camera ceased recording after 31 seconds whilst the potential intruder / offender was still in view.

W** hat use is a system that switches off whilst movement **** (and therefore potential evidence) **** is still detected**.

Is there some adjustment which can be made to extend the recording time?

Hi @churnburn. Check out our Community post here, which talks about how to adjust your Video Recording Length. We are slowly rolling out this feature, so you may not have it right away, but when you do, you can adjust your videos for your battery operated device to up to 120 seconds!
