Re adding Ring door bell

Hi, my phone wouldn’t connect to the doorbell. After lots of faffing I removed the doorbell from the app. Now it won’t let me add it back on. Keeps saying its still registered to its owner. I’m the owner. What do I do

Sorry to hear about this, @Morrisminor! Please ensure you are using the same account log in and location in the Ring app to setup your Doorbell. If the Doorbell is still showing in your Ring app, you may be able to reconnect it through the “device health” settings rather than doing a setup.

If you are still getting prompts about ownership, check your email inbox for an email request to allow the new setup. Once the email is verified, the app should allow setup. Check out our Change of Ownership help center article for more information. :slight_smile:
