Rapid app doesn't see network. Ring app has no problem

The rapid app asks ‘please connect your phone to the internet’. ‘Goto settings’ takes me to some really obscure More networks page (not a list of available networks). If I go to the main ring app it has no issues with the internet connectivity. Closing down all apps on the phone makes no difference.

If I restart the phone the rapid ring app finds the network and live view works.
