So far I’ve had your security system for a couple of months and I love it - easy to use and inexpensive in comparison to what else is out there. I have a feature/product request that I think would be incredibly interesting and useful.
Considering you already have smart lighting for outdoor use - I was wondering if there were any plans to create interior smart bulbs? Similar to other smart bulbs like the Philips Hue, I think having a first party “Ring smart bulb” would increase the system’s versitility. Considering that many people already use lighting as a form of security around the house, it would add another feature that is aligned with the ecosystem you’ve created.
Features could include scheduled interior lighting times, automatically turning all lights on/off when arming/disarming, and turning all lights on in the event of the alarm going off. It’s very similar to what you already have built for the exterior smart lighting - just interior for lighting a room. Additional lighting products would probably need to come along with it - like remote controls, dimmers, etc. I know that you already have smart switches that integrate with Ring, but this would definitely be next level.
