Pro Power Kit required with plug in adapter?

I’ve got a Ring Video Doorbell Pro that I’m finally getting around to installing. Has a little white box labeled Pro Power Kit that gets installed on doorbell transformer terminals.

I have no pre existing doorbell, so I will be using a 24v AC 500mA plug in transformer to power the video doorbell.

Do I still need to instal the Pro Power Kit? If so on the terminals on back of video doorbell?

Hi @smokinyoda. Yes, the Pro Power Kit is still required. You will install the Pro Power Kit in “Bypass Mode” to properly power your Ring Pro. The steps for this should be in the box that your Ring Pro came in, or follow along in the Ring app. This Help Center article here will also help.
