Please Correct Webpage Error - Ring Alarm Keypad (2nd gen) Lights and Buttons Explained

The webpage for “Ring Alarm Keypad (2nd gen) Lights and Buttons Explained” (https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042894911-Ring-Alarm-Keypad-2nd-gen-Lights-and-Buttons-Explained) contains an error. The descriptions for items 8 and 9 should be reversed:

8. Home Mode - Enter your access code and press to arm your Alarm system when leaving.

9. Away Mode - Enter your access code and press to put your Alarm system in armed home mode.

Please correct this error.

Also, I would like to second the recommendation made by several other users to return the option of leaving the “armed” status lights always on rather than being solely motion activated. It’s nice to see at a glance that the system is operating properly.

Hey @e1scd. Thank you for making this callout in our Help Center Article! We have gone ahead and made some changes to the article to have it make more sense and be accurate.

Thank you for your feedback on the lights as well! As we value our neighbors’ feedback, we’ve created a Feature Request board. Feel free to add this and any future feature requests there. This will help us to organize and share your requests with our teams here, as well as allow other neighbors to comment and add interest, all in one place. Feel free to link that post you make in the Feature Request board here so other neighbors that come to this thread can easily find your feature!
