My peephole cam generates motion alerts, but the recordings are 40 seconds of black screen. It often times out when trying to do a live view. There’s a strong internet connection and firmware is up to date. I’m at a loss.
Hi @jdc007. There is a great Help Center Article that has some good tips and tricks on fixing most issues related to Black Video. Additionally, make sure that the ribbon cable that connects both parts of your Peephole cam is not frayed or broken in any way, as this could also cause black video.
