P1-78 ongoing problem

Hi, had this installed less than a month ago and am having to regularly turn it off and on again. I’m given the P1-78 error. This was in stalled by a professional electrictian.

There is power and WiFi connect despite this error message. It won’t allow me to go into live view or to remotely turn it off. I have to manually reboot this which defeats the object of it being a remote system.

I know there is power getting to it and a WiFi connection as the notifications around persons and movements come through and I can watch these in good quality with sound.

Please let me know if I need to return this and claim on the warranty. It is currently not working properly.

Hi @user48209. Have you performed a reset on the device? You can do that by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then releasing. If that doesn’t correct your issues with the P1-78 error, I suggest reaching out to our support team to take a closer look at how the device is operating. Yes indeed. A power cycle resolves it but the same thing happens a few days later. Thanks though
