Option to modify number of vibrations for a notification

I have an Android phone and every time that I get a notification for motion, I receive 4 very strong vibrations. It would be greatly appreciated if we could modify the number and strength of vibrations in the app. Many others have requested the same feature:

I agree 100%. This question is plastered all over the internet with no responses. It seems like a pretty simple and straight forward feature to add.

I have a Pixel 4 and there is no way to customize the vibration pattern for Ring notifications. There are a total of 4 vibrations which is incredibly obnoxious when they’re going off all day long. Please reduce the number of vibrations for Android notifications or at least allow customization of these patterns.
