New ring bridge won't setup

Hello I just purchased a floodlight and a ring bridge. I am going through the setup process and get to the point of connecting wifi however after it asks me to switch to the ring network to set it up it just gets stuck on connecting to bridge and won’t go any further. The light continues to blink blue and won’t do anything else

Hi there, @jasonr1016! It sounds like you are doing everything correctly here. The blue light flashing is a great indicator of setup mode and should allow successful connection. As you mentioned the step where the Ring app will ask you to connect, or join, the Ring setup network, this is best done with the mobile device near the Bridge. Please ensure there is not a vpn enabled on your mobile device as well. If possible, try setting up the Bridge using another mobile device entirely.
