New homeowner, remove account from old homeowner

I’ve recently purchased a home set up with the ring security system and I’ve tried signing in into the system with my account but I cannot as it is registered with the old homeowner. The old homeowner is currently in Vietnam with no way to contact him. Is there anyway I can still factory reset the ring system?
