Need for additional Ethernet port connected to Alarm pro

I am looking to add the Ring Alarm system (with remote monitoring package) but have some specific network needs.

While I am (somewhat) agreeable to having the Ring be my main router/gateway, I need to have more than one ethernet port. I have an older house that requires two TP-Link Ethernet over power connections and an existing IP-based surveillance camera system.

I want to add the above components using a WiFi extender in passive/bridge mode (no WiFi ) with hardwire ports off the second Ethernet port on the Alarm base station.

My reservations aside, is this possible?

Get yourself a POE Switch with as many ports as you want and plug it into the Alarm Pro’s ethernet port.
