My doorbell has a different owner

I have just brought a ring doorbell secondhand however now trying to set it up it’s still registered to the other owner and they will not reply what can I do please?

How can you be certain the doorbell wasn’t stolen?

If you ever run into the situation where you are trying to set up a device that is still registered to the previous owner, please make sure you contact said owner and ask them to remove the device from their Ring app. Once this is done you should be able to set it up.
