using a Ring Doorbell 2 with Ring Mains charger but the internal battery seems to still show power decreasing do i sill have to charge to doorbell or ignore it the app shoss hardwired
Hi @Markrw. Hardwiring your Doorbell to the doorbell circuit will provide it with a small trickle charge each day to help keep the battery levels topped off. If your Doorbell experiences a large number of events such as motions, dings, and Live Views, the battery will drain more quickly than it can be charged. You can try adjusting your Motion Zones or the Motion Frequency to reduce the number of events your Doorbell is experiencing to help preserve the battery life between charges.
