I just received my mailbox sensor and when trying to install it, the ring app is giving me an error: “Scan the QR code on your Ring. You may have scanned a different device.”
Just to be sure I’ve tried scanning the QR cde on the box, the device, and the instruction sheet, with the same results.
I went through the “Add a device” steps and chose the mailbox sensor. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but still no luck.
